Updates!

1st order of business:

'Shattering the boundaries between cultures and religions through art' is coming up this Wed- that's after tomorrow!

SAC Ballroom B 6-9 pm

A brief art history lecture followed by an interfaith logo contest. The group with the best logo will get their logo to be used for future interfaith and peace dialogues, while each student in that group will win a prize! Invite your friends and express what true peace means to you!

2nd order of business:

Shattering the boundaries between religions and cultures through art




This is an art history lecture/contest event coming up on Wed. Nov. 12 @ SAC ballroom B from 6-9 pm.

Stony Brook Americans for Democracy (AIDemocracy) event: 'Shattering the boundaries between cultures and religions through art'

Art history lecture dealing with Jewish, Christian, and Islamic art to show the cultural diffusion of these artistic ideas between cultures and religions.

Contest: Students from different faiths get together in groups to try to create the best interfaith logo comprised of different religious symbols. The winning group will have their logo used for future interfaith and peace dialogues, while each student in the group will get a prize!

Co-Sponsored with the MSA, Catholic Campus Ministry, Hillel Foundation for Jewish Life, the Crafts Center, and Art Department.
